During this design process, this is how I made an impact:
Reduced cognitive overload on the webpages
Designed a product that is interactive, easier to navigate and usable
Lambton Students seeking internships and full-time jobs encounter challenges securing COOP positions due to limited access to relevant opportunities, lack of tailored resources, and inadequate networking avenues within the existing platform. This hampers their ability to explore, apply, and secure COOP placements effectively, leading to frustration and hindering their professional growth and career advancement.
Solution
To create an easy-access website application dedicated to supporting Lambton College Students as they find work for COOP and beyond. This platform will be developed with two goals in mind:
Bridge the gap between Students who struggle to find jobs with the right skill set and experience
Provide a better, streamlined user experience for Students and Lambton College Partner Companies
